Journey of Hope is a ministry specifically designed to provide a "soul-friend" presence for any pastor who is walking through a painful challenge in ministry on the way to health, wholeness and renewed vision.
The life of ministry in the church can be full of joy, achievement and great fulfillment. But for some pastors, there are also times of great struggle. Many in ministry experience long periods of spiritual drought, directional uncertainty or emotional pain, often masked by a façade of impenetrable cheerfulness. The condition takes its toll on pastors, spouses, families, church boards and entire congregations.
Journey of Hope was founded and is directed by Dr. Richard Dresselhaus. After many years of ministry in the local church - reinforced by decades of denominational leadership - Pastor Dresselhaus has a profound burden to encourage pastors and churches who find themselves in a place of need.
